it could be usefull to sort out plugins with “numbers of in/out”, just like we can do with “name contains”
Click on that column and the list will sort itself. Not quite the same as searching, but it may help …

I have already tried to do that sort, but it only works with the 4 first columns (Ardour 2.8_4918).
