Plugin internal time not syncing to tempo changes in Ardour 7

I’m having an issue with plugins (specifically Strike by Air Music) not recognizing tempo and meter changes. The plugin only keeps the first tempo, even when new midi regions are created solely in the new tempo. Previously in 6.9 etc., the plugin responded to both tempo and meter changes accordingly with no issue. I’ve replicated the issue with 7.2, and the same behavior occurs.

Any help with this would be great, thanks!

In the bug report please also include on Which OS (Windows/Mac) and what plugin format is affected (VST2/VST3/AU/…).
