I made a forum post about this in the past but no responses.
I then reported this minor graphical bug on Mantis but was said that it could not be reproduced, I was wondering if any users would be willing to quickly try this.
-In a session that contains tracks with plugins added
-Open menu bar “Window” category and select “Plugin DSP Load”
-On the right side of this dialog you should see "21.3 [ms] at the end of each bar (near the “Reset” buttons).
-Now decrease the width of this dialog window by grabbing its right edge and dragging to your left
-As the dialog window decreases in width the meter bars + number labels condense
-For me when this occurs the “[ms]” text at the end, ends up on top of the “21.3” text
Does this occur for any other users?
Thank you to anyone who reads this
A picture of this window can be seen in the following post
(only difference is using English version, so my buttons at end say “Reset”)
I don’t know that I need to be called out in the way you did but thank you for verifying / providing screenshot.
For more context, if someone asks to see a screenshot, that means they cannot see what I am speaking of, therefore it cannot be reproduced.
As far as the not providing a screenshot twice, I can read, I just did not see the point/effort to produce a picture to show “[ms]” text on top of “21.3” text, when I could just say “[ms]” shows up on top of “21.3” text.
I’m sorry if I’m being a bit blunt here but if one of the main developers ask you for a second time “Could you please post a screenshot” then maybe you should consider doing that instead of just abandoning the bug report.
If so, we might have had a fix in 8.11 or 8.12.
This is clearly a minuscule bug but you weren’t asked to do a full Debugging Ardour | Ardour DAW , only to provide a screenshot.
If one asks for a screenshot it could also mean that they either don’t have the time to follow the recipe to see the bug or they may not be in front of the computer at the time of asking.
