playhead does not move

Hello, I’m recording with Ardour on ubuntu 10.10; i have installed it some days ago, and now i cannot move freely the playhead, it rimains stucked at the point where i first stop the recording in each ardour session. does anybody know why and how to solve the problem. thanks

Check your timecode settings. (Number ‘6’ in the second image on this page… http://ardour.org/files/reference/dsy22-ARDOUR.html)

It should be set to internal unless you KNOW otherwise(And you would know)
