Patchbay modifier keys

I noticed it is possible to use Ctrl modifier in patchbay to select a diagonal in one click. I looked through the documentation but couldn’t find details about this and other possible modifier keys?

For example I always found it a bit painful to change routing of many stereo tracks to one bus. The click and drag feature is very nice but when connecting stereo tracks you usually want to only connect left to left and right to right. Is there any faster way than connecting the tracks one by one?
