I wrote here a couple of years ago about this project. Now the project has progressed further. I’m not part of the development team, but I’m sharing this information here as well.
The project is called oscmix, targeting RME UFX series devices, and I noticed there’s a fresh nightly build (2026-03-01) available from the dev branch.
It now includes:
Linux builds (arm64 & x86_64)
AppImage releases
A GTK UI
A web version (WebAssembly, self-hosted, WebMIDI via browser)
Since this is a nightly build, features may be unstable or incomplete, but it looks promising for Linux users working with RME hardware.

Has anyone here already tested it with a UFX device on Linux?
The project has been progressing in a very positive direction. The developers are now primarily focusing on a Qt-based desktop application, which already appears to work quite well, although it is still in an early alpha stage. If you are using or planning to use RME Fireface series devices on Linux, it is definitely worth keeping an eye on this project.
