Anything I can do to get rid of this annoying meter latency?
What makes this difficult is that it only seems to apply to some people. I’m running 6.9 on Big Sur and not experiencing any meter lag or any other performance issues. I’m on an old Intel Mac (2014 i5 Mini with 8 gigs of RAM). I wonder if this is more of an issue on M1 Macs running Ardour on Rosetta, or if it’s an Intel Mac maybe something else is going on with your specific setup that isn’t happening with mine. Could you specify whether you’re using an Intel Mac or M1?
