Ordenation for Aux Send Buses

Hi there… I have been working with ardour today and i have thought… what is the aux sen order list?

If you see in my image there isnt any logical order in the buses list… and its really dificult to find the buses when u have a lot.

Would it be possible (or better) to list them in alphabetical order?

There is: it’s the order that the busses are in your project.

Isn’t this just the order in which they were created?

I created the thre busses (pre-room) just before making the screenshots.

As u can see in the add aux send menu they arent in the last places…

Yes, we should sort them, ideally in order they are also shown on the mixer.

Currently they are ordered in sequence how busses are processed.
e.g. if you Bus 1 feeds Bus 2. Bus 1 is listed first.
When no bus feeds another bus, the order is undefined.
