Open source expander/gate with lookahead and/or hold?

I’m recording drums, and trying to stick to open source plugins. While the stock expander is useful, I really wish it had the option for lookahead and hold. I could almost solve the lookahead problem by duplicating the track and shifting it backwards in time, to then sidechain it into the first track’s expander. That’s tedious to do for multiple tracks, though, and it worsens the other issue of not having a hold gauge.
The drums I’m recording sound fine as is, but I feel giving the transients some “lead in” would help them sound more natural.

Let me know if there are any options out there for me to try. Thanks!

Perhaps LSP’s Gate:

As per Robin’s kind recommendation, I also wanted to suggest the LSP stuff.

They’re FOSS and really good in my opinion. I’ve been getting to know them recently in conjunction with Drumgizmo (and general mixing) and I’ve been really impressed.
