Opaque doesn't work on MIDI

Hello, I just got Ardour 3 and seems that the Opaque features or regions doesn’t work with MIDI tracks. With an audio track I can correctly hear only the top region but with midi all the layers are played. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
