I want to take something and tune it up an octave. I don’t need it to be real-time, I don’t care if it takes an hour to render 2 minutes of audio. What’s a good option, works on Linux? Maybe play with formants, maybe not. Needs to cover a rather full spectrum. I have Graillon, but it is tuned for voice and doesn’t handle things below 100Hz very well. Thanks!
Have you tried Region > Edit > Pitch-shift?
It is available from the context-menu (right-click) of a region on the timeline, and alternatively from Ardour’s main menu if a region is selected.
