Odd little Ardour 7.3.43 occasional crash + error message

Perhaps this will end up as a bug report, but I just thought I’d start with this error I regularly get on crash, before I load a debug version that will give more info…

(ardour-7.3.43:3947): glibmm-ERROR **: 10:43:29.047:
unhandled exception (type std::exception) in signal handler:
what: negative distance in timecnt constructor

Trace/breakpoint trap

I’ll just be slicing and dicing a multi-track podcast, when all of a sudden, at least once every 30mins, Boom!

Perhaps someone knows a simple solution?

A little context if needed:

I do use Ardour remotely via xpra, but I have been doing that for a long time, final version of Ardour 6, did not seem to crash like this. The audio is not remotely accessed. All the machines are next to me, and I just plug my headphones directly into the “remote” Ardour machine. But I use it remotely thru a laptop to save space etc.

Installed from ardour.org, compiled it yourself, or installed from distribution repository?

downloaded pre-compiled from ardour.org! I’m a subscriber. I love this thing. Even when it crashes!
