I have tried several times under ubuntu and linux mint in different computers.I have always the same problem : cannot configure sound startup session to detect sound.
I am not able to setup cards for listening the tracks I want to modify .
My last trial is under linux mint on a new pc ( X3 AMD , 2 Gb RAM , on board sound card nVidia Corporation ) .

What have you tried so far? And what happened?
