No sound coming from Ardour??!

Hi guys,

I’ve been using Ardour for a while and it runs fine & i’ve used it to create several pieces of music, and the sound has run okay…however, today (after a month or so away from it) I decided to create a new tune but don’t get any sound output, and the terminal gives me this:

lindsell@FUCKUP:~$ ardour2

Is this a simple problem that i’m stupid enough not to see, or is something running amok with JACK??!

Kind regards,

Nate.

I see no errors in your output to worry about (other than that you should upgrade jack; 0.109 is known to be buggy) and I’m assuming you see movements on the Master meters.
Check in qjackctl that you have connected the Master outs to your soundcard and make sure the faders on the soundcard is up.

Hmm, everything seems ok in qjackctl. I can play my previous projects fine, but get no sound output in the new project I just started…maybe it’s my project settings? I’ll try a new one…
