I am running ardour using pw-jack in a pipewire based debian system. I manage all my connections using qpwgraph and I want to avoid that ardour auto-connects to “external” devices. Can that be done?
Yes for the most part:
Ardour Preferences > Signal Flow > …
- Auto-connect main output (master or monitor) bus to physical ports
- Connect track inputs … → manually
Ardour will still save/recall manual connections, and metronome auto-connection is currently unconditional…
