Hi,

I’m not familiar with OS X, but you have probably something wrong installed:

/usr/X11R6/lib/libXext.6.dylib: mach-o, but wrong architecture

Maybe something with your X-Server? Or do you use the right Ardour version?

Give some further information.

Benjamin

Which version of ardour did you download and run?

__
I DL and ran the Ardour-0.99.3-universal.dmg

I will post the COnsole message I received more recently when I get home, which suggests a path problem with X11…something I know nothing about

THank you for you help

Install software Updates…for OSX… Click on the apple at the top left of your finder window and install all patches… This should fix it… Atleast it fixed mine… Good luck.
