Very cool.
I like everything about this, except the brass instrument in the middle. It sounds tinny and artificial (is it?) and the reverb doesn’t fit.
Fair critique, everything in the track is artificial actually. Really yeah that’s the weak link in the track, but I had to fulfil some parameters, and getting realistic brass articulations is seems like a weak point for EW instruments unless you heavily tweak multi-articulation patches, velocity, and expression automation (more trouble than the project warranted)
The reverb was a quick compromise for the above issues
Thanks for the background info. Yeah, sometimes you just gotta make do with what you have and the time at hand.
