Is there a way to make new takes record midi messages into existing midi region?
Like I recorded some notes, and then I want to add some cc messages to same midi region using knobs of midi controller
No there isn’t.
Merging events into existing regions (which are just .mid files) is hard, in particular handling overlapping notes.
MIDI regions are transparent, so underlying data will be played back, if you want a single region, you have to bounce it after the fact.
