Do you compose all lines before starting recording @cchoowee or do you compose some things as you go (like guitars for instance).

Little of both. Kind of get the parts swirling around in my head until I’m going crazy. That’s when I know it’s time to start recording… 
For that song, everything is guitar based except the drums and piano in the middle. But, yeah for things like lead parts, I usually just try a few takes and take what I think are the better pieces of each take.
