I have been heavy on the recording mixing side of things lately in Ardour3. I used:
Recorded on site in cold Feb. 2011 outside
intel mac
RME Fire Face 800 @ 32bit 96khz
Mixed inside in a much warmer large space:
Dell Latitude E6400
RME Fire Face 800 @ 32bit 96khz
FFADO Driver under Ubuntu
Low-latency stock kernel and custom build of ffado with RME turned on
The Film is called “A Silent Universe” it is a story about doubt. Here is the link for the trailer A Silent Universe check out the trailer. Ardour get credit as platform in the film. If you want to see the whole file you can stream it for 24hrs from the site or buy it permanently. It is fund raising for our next films.
Great work keep on going with that pace. The trailer is good and very much appreciable. Like it. It can do a good business in online or download. All the osund track and music score are well played.
Update: The trailers have been up but we are now selling the films. Mainly to raise money to make the next one. You can help by purchasing a $1.50 24-hour stream or permanent download for $3.50. All audio was done with Ardour3 as stated above. You can get to the site by copying and pasting this link http://www.storiesbytheriver.org. Once on the site just hit the store button and help as mentioned above. Thank you to Paul and the Ardour gang for making this such a great platform for creating audio for film and music!
Awesome! Nice trailer…it’s going sell this movie. I’m excited to see/hear something that was mixed on Ardour. I love sci fi, but even if this was a romantic comedy, I’d probably want to see it haha.
