discovered and bought Mixbus last night, however i haven’t got very far as it crashes on launch at the splash screen…
anyway, i’m wondering what the preferred protocol is for submitting crash logs is (i’m assuming these forums is where i should come for support for Mixbus)?
where/how should i upload them?

What is the error output of the Console(In Applications/Utilities, have it running while you start Ardour)?
What version of OSX are you on and is it PPC or Intel?

i’m running 10.5.8 on a MBP 2.16 C2D…
the console errors are to do with JackPilot…
i haven’t actually done a proper Jack setup yet, so maybe that’s why i’m getting the crash?
i suppose it could be a plugin issue too…
anyway, have to go now, will check it out later…

on my computer an MBP running 10.5.8, I ran into jack not being found by Mixbus & Ardour. I uninstalled JackOSX and installed
it again, same version (JackOSX.0.83_32bits_b5). Works fine now.

errr, yes, i guess the crash was because Jack wasn’t setup properly yet and was using the Inbuilt Mic as its interface by default…
up and running now!
