How to install and get NeuralNote working with Ardour 7.2.123? I have downloaded both “standalone” and “vst3” versions and tried to make path things in Ardour >Edit>Preferences>Plugins>VST.
Sometimes I wonder how hard it is to also make detailed installation instructions for github, from where the product in question is downloaded??
How to get the plugin to work. It only takes a few words, but it seems to be completely overwhelming for these nerds! So what is the operating model to get it to work in ardour. So, detailed installation instructions, please?
You can find installers for windows and Mac. Many times there is instructions for linux in other cases, how to compile source code. But in this case it is missing!
It’s very cute to watch people in Youtube who are telling how this software works, but the big difference is how to install it in Linux and how to get it work. Where to put those downloaded files?! How to use them after extract!
The reason I demand such instructions is that so many people struggle with things that are obvious to some, because they have been coding for a decade.
When it comes to music creators who know how to make music, not all of them are necessarily coders. Many Linux users don’t do it either.
I think so because I have a Nokia background from my past, where I often had to figure out and question, among other things, instructions. So that head-banging against the wall was completely minimized.
Why do I think this way? Because experience has shown that good documentation and advanced user guides can elevate a good product above its competitors.
Thank you kindly for your response, Piergi.
I’ve already completed that step. Afterward, I examined the opened "build.bat” file, which appeared to reference the Windows operating system. At this point, I’m unsure how to proceed or explore alternative options. On the KVR Audio website, I could only find versions available for Windows and Mac.
Sorry for delay. “Busy”
Thank you for you kind response Schmitty2005. Maby I did something wrong or it depends my tailored system I use
(AV Linux MX 21.3 Wildflower, Debian 11 (bullseye) XFCE,
Kernel: 6.0.0-10.1-liquirix-amd64).
I use ChatGpt, and it helps me a lot. I have noticed that sometimes realized, that when you work in terminal with ChatGpt and I have a tailored system, some thing are not working. When I make a script after script, ChatGpt begins to give me a same advises like in the beginning and you are in loop. Something like that.
