Okay I’m convinced. Thank you for the effort. I guess I just need to figure out why it wont build for me on anything after F41. I was sure it was because of gtk2 but apparently not.

Look here for a rpm recipe that works for openSUSE. And replace “gigedit” by linuxsampler, libgig, liblscp, qsampler tn the URL to find respective packages.

Thanks for the link. Very helpful! It actually helped a lot. I got GigEdit v1.2.3 to build (with modifications) on COPR for Fedora 41-43 as well as locally for F41/F42 (I don’t have F43 installed anywhere yet).
