Moving range selections

I made a range selection by mouse, but didn’t add markers in the ruler.

Now I’d like to click and drag to move the range selection around (like with regions or like you can move selections around in GIMP), but I couldn’t figure out how. Is it possible?

Ardour doesn’t do that. You can cut-n-paste the range selection OR you can “separate” it to create a new region and then drag that around.
