Moving audio content within clip boundaries

I am trying to move the content of an audio clip while preservin the boundaries of it.
I already found a similar topic here but i cannot reproduce, what is suggested the.
I enabled the trim bar in the preferences and try to move the content by holding ctrl while dragging with the mouse in the trim bar area, but instead of moving the content, the clip boundaries move.

Any hints? What am i missing?

To slide the internal contents, hold Shift+Ctrl (Shift+Cmd on mac) while dragging on the waveform (not the region edges)

This only works if you have already trimmed the region so there is space to move the waveform left/right inside the region.
