Monitor/headphones mix

Hi everyone! I’m new here and new to home recording in general, so be patient with my newbieness :slight_smile:
My question is: how do I create a monitor bus for, say, a singer who is recording his take and wants a personalised mix in his headphones?

Create a bus. Create a send on each track you want in the headphone mix, route to the bus, and adjust the level appropriately. Route the bus directly to a hardware output connected to the headphones(or headphone amp preferably). Use the bus fader to adjust overall level.
