I use Ardour a lot for producing practice tracks for my choir. This involves making 4 separate exports from the same Ardour file. For the 4 mixes I use the “Mixer Scene” function which suites the workflow brilliantly.
This works fine but every time I want to output a fresh mix of one of the practice tracks I find I am having to manually edit the label in the export dialog box to make sure that the output name is for the correct vocal part.
I would find it really useful to be able to select to append the “mixer scene” name to the “current filename” rather than having to type it into the “label” field. (image attached to illustrate)
