Is it possible to synchronized MixBus and GarageBand?
I have managed to record a playback from Garage Band into MixBus but I have to switch applications. Start recording in MixBus and start playback in Garage Band.
There must be a way to do this in one shot.
Help please.
@jazzhat: there is no shared transport protocol in CoreAudio, so that’s no an option. If GarageBand can be made to pay attention to and/or generate MMC (MIDI Machine Control) messages, then that would be one way to sync them, since Mixbus can function as either a slave or a master with MMC. But I am not sure that Apple added this capability to Garageband - it was supposed to be a pretty stripped down version of Logic - so you’d have to read its manual(s) carefully to see if it can support that.
