Some Elements are missing in main Edit Window.
Is this intentionally or a bug?

You’ll need to toggle these back in the preferences.
@x42 btw now in v9 there are no buttons between the main clock and the range clock, the previous layout felt a little more harmonious to me I must say. Also “Follow interval” and “Automatic Return” buttons did disappear actually.
Yes that is correct. We cleaned out the main application bar and removed all non-essential widgets.
Over the last 15 years the application bar became overcrowded. The idea was to show every new feature there, to highlight it. This not only lead to a mess of buttons, but also increased min. required screen dimension…
Note that some buttons that are only relevant for the editor are now part of the editor toolbar.
Other than that there is Preferences > Appearance > Application Bar > … which allows you to get the old layout back.
