Yo,
Does anyone have any recommendations for a basic midi-sample-mapper plugin/‘instrument’ that isn’t TX16Wx (or Decent Sampler, or Linux Sampler, or (Apple’s) AUSampler)?
I’ve been using TX16Wx, but it’s now (for about a week) utterly non-functional on my computer (macOS Mojave), no matter what I try to fix it… → Ardour sessions with the plugin simply refuse to load (-and are stuck on “Setup Editor”), until I move the plugin file to the trash and reopen the session, with Ardour then replacing any use of it with a ‘blank stub’…
I have no idea what is happening.
And I just want to get back to work…
So any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
→ I am merely trying to map vocal/instrument note samples (.wav files) I have to particular midi/keyboard notes.
