I’d rather move my eyes than have to keep moving the mouse around for all the different hits.
There is a feature in Reaper where you can (I think) shift+click on a keyboard key at the left side of the piano roll and type in some text (the keys have more space in Reaper). This text is saved as part of the track I believe. I used to use it a lot for writing the names of articulations each key switch triggers. I could then save this as a track template for use in other projects. A similar simple solution might be useful here.
