I’m trying to make friends with the iCON p1-Nano controller. I can’t figure out the logic in any way. Some features work. The fader doesn’t want to work at all. I assign the Alt+M command to the touch button, it doesn’t work. From the keyboard, everything is ok.
Mmm, so which one is it? Either it doesn’t work, or everything is OK. Could you please elaborate?
What platform are you on? If Linux, which audio/MIDI backend? If JACK/Pipewire, which version of Pipewire?
Windows 11 system.
I’ve figured out the keys, but I can’t figure out how to set up MIDI connection.
Jog works. Some buttons work. The fader does not work.
When you add a track, the device is disconnected and freezes.
Although the P1-Nano is using Mackie Control Protocol, the single fader design isn’t really a part of MCP. It will need at least a new device info file for the fader to do anything useful, and potentially some minor code changes to make it work correctly.
