Microtonal Midi with ZynAddSubFX

I am trying to get into microtonal music actually, quarter notes only for now. I usually work a lot with ZynAddSubFX. And it also mentions on its website:

  • Microtonal capabilities with any scale, up to 128 notes per octave, and key mapping

But how can I use that? In particular from Ardour? I can not find any documentation on the subject.
