Hi! I can’t figure out how to do something I use to do before: having my mic going on master directly (without having to record it).
As you can see on the following screenshot, my “voice” is active (see its VU meter) and it is being routed to the Master bus, but it doesn’t go to my ears (nothing in the VU meter).
The problem doesn’t exist if I do a recording on the voice track.
What am I missing?
You would need to show hardware connections, not tracks, and connect the output of that hardware input directly to the master bus if that is what you want.

Another way to do it certainly, but I would tend to suggest input monitoring, or setting up a BUS for this purpose is another way to do it. The latter is probably the best way if you don’t care about recording as it gives you the ability to control it easily, but input monitoring on a track can also do this.
