Metronome 2/2 not working

Hey there
I’ve tried for the first time in my life to set a metronome to 2/2 and I’m failing at it. X/4 (crotchet) works as expected, also all X/3 (minim triplet) combinations I tested, but X/2 (minim) only gives me the very first beast and then nothing else at all.

Am I misunderstanding what the metronome is supposed to do?

That is, sadly, a known bug. Currently only N/4 N/8 works.
