I noticed the Meterbridge window goes to the background when you click on something in the mixer. For example:
- Open a new session
- Hit Alt-b to display Meterbridge
- Click on something in the editor window. The Meterbridge hides in the background.
Another weird thing is if you Alt-tab into another Windows window, and then back to Ardour, the Meterbridge reappears and doesn’t hide when you try to adjust the volume or something, until you close the Meterbridge window and reopen it. If you save the session and reopen it then none of this happens.
In Preferences/Quirks I have “Use visibility information provided by your Window manager/Desktop” checked. I’m using Windows 11 on a Lenovo Legion 5 Pro-16ITH6 Laptop - Type 82JF with a NVIDIA GeForce RTX™ 3050 on an external 2560 x 1440 monitor.
In Mixbus this happens on all plugins. In Ardour I’ve only noticed it on the Meterbridge. I posted about this in the Mixbus forum also but haven’t found a resolution.
