How do I draw gain automation on the master bus for a final fade-out? I figured out how to enter gain automation write mode and manually move the fader at the end, but I’d like to be able to draw it in from scratch.
The same way you would with any other track. Make sure the Master Track is viewable in the editor window, open the fader automation track on it, and draw it in.
Seablade@audiodef: click on the “a” button in the track header for the master bus in the editor window, and make fader (“gain”) automation visible. draw as you wish by clicking to add new control points. put the fader automation track into “play” mode. done.
Thanks, guys. I’m not sure why I had trouble with that, unless I was stupidly trying to draw in the track instead of in the automation bar… But I got it now.
