Mapping the MIDI Panic Button to a MIDI Controller

Is there any way to map the MIDI Panic button to a MIDI button on the controller?

I use a keyboard as a MIDI controller and a small mixer as a MIDI controller to activate tracks and control the volume of each track. I would like to map a button on the MIDI mixer to the MIDI Panic button when a note on the keyboard freezes with a VST active on the track.

If this isn’t possible in the current version of Ardour, it would be great if a future version had this option. Thank you in advance for your help!

Which MIDI controller? A lot of MIDI controller have an all notes off button.

You can use a binding map, with the action="..." syntax, using the action “MIDI/Panic”

This worked perfectly. Only the syntax is “MIDI/panic” with a lowercase p.

I also managed to figure it out by looking at the OSC manual, and using the “/midi_panic” command also works perfectly.
