I have recently installed Lubuntu on a dell optiplex 780 with four gigs or ram. Ardour was working well. My friend suggested Lubuntu is a great system for ardour but when I try to use it there are weird things happening and weird error messages . It says something about the memory being assigned so ardour may lock up. Is anyone running ardour with Lubuntu succesffully.

I’ve actually gone back to ubuntu studio. I can now appreciate what it offers and it’s definitely the distro for me. Thank you for your help
