sorry for noob question - where is user script lua directory on Windows? I only found “C:\Program Files\Ardour8\share\ardour8\scripts” but it is read only folder that I can’t put files into (even thought I am admin) so that lead me believe there is another folder for custom scripts where I can put my stuff?
That’d be the below user config dir %localappdata%\Ardour8\scripts\
The scripts directory may not initially exist, so you may have to create it: either manually, or by saving a script in Ardour Menu > Window > Scripting.
