I’m in the process of mixing a live concert recording. I just now read in the Mixbus manual that there is a process that automatically examines the polarity of the individual tracks and suggests an optimization. Does it make sense if some plugins are already inserted in the track heads? Or should I better remove everything from the tracks? Thank you very much, I’m interested in what there is to say about it…
Edit: There are 13 tracks.
The polarity maximizer analyzes raw data from the track (before any plugins). Polarity inversion also takes place before any other processing on each channelstrip.
