I’m using a Launchpad Pro Mk3 with Ardours native script. Is there a way to map faders from the Launchpad e.g. on a custom page to controls via midi-learn while using the default Ardour-Script for the Launchpad? Midi-Learn doesn’t work for me at least.
Or would it be possible to make use of the “Device” button for accessing 8 assignable macros? It doesn’t do anything right now.

MIDI Learn and our builtin support for specific devices are totally orthogonal. You can’t use both with one device.
I’d have to review the role of the “Device” button … right now, this hardware doesn’t work on any Linux system running a 6.x kernel …

Do you mean the Launchpad by “this hardware”? I use the launchpad on Fedora 41 with Kernel 6.12 with 0 issues.
Ah, yes, sorry, it’s the new Launchkey’s that have the compatabilty problem. The launchpads are fine.
