Keyboard shortcut unexpected behaviour

In Keyboard Shortcuts, Shift-Ctrl-Left/Right is said to move markers and locations to the previous / next region boundary, but that doesn’t seem to consistently be the case in my session (Ardour 8.12 official on Linux Mint Debian Edition).

The active marker is moved, but I am unable to predict how far it will move, and certainly it does not move from one region boundary to the next. However, creating a new marker and moving it around, I get expected results. So to me it seems that markers might start behaving funnily after having been moved around a couple of times.

Anyone else experiencing this?

I think figured out what was going on here:

When it is a range marker being active, it is not just the marker moving but the entire range. Thus ‘range start’ may well be at a region boundary while ‘range end’ is not.
