I wanted to try out this feature introduced in version 9.0, but it doesn’t seem to work. I cannot add new control points by pressing enter (playhead jumps to the beginning of the timeline instead), nor can I move the selected control point by using the arrow keys. Am I missing something?
I’m running version 9.2 by the way.
EDIT: I tried this on macOS X and it works as expected.
Is your mouse inside the automation track?
Yes it is, however I figured out the issue. It seems the keyboard commands work on audio track automation, but not MIDI track automation. Are these implemented differently?

Wtih automation on MIDI tracks ( Bender, Pressure, Controllers & Polyphonic Pressure ) I cannot use “enter” to insert automation point and not use use the arrow keys to move points.
It isn’t intentional, but it is a mistake.
