My attempt to make a cover in Ardour. But my cheap USB interface have a lot of delay and its difficult to sing along with the beat.
GeneralMidi in drums, Vital and Surge XT as synths, also Surge XT as vocoder.

For the record, even if there is a significant delay from the audio interface like this, Ardour if properly set up can account for the delay and will automatically shift your recording to line it up with the time. Sometimes this takes a bit more work than others depending on the audio interface but it should make this easier.
