So I got it into my head that I might not be half bad at singing, or at least alright enough with lyrics that my voice doesn’t distract the listener too much, recycled an old idea for a backing track, and wrote a song. Yep, your bog standard 3 1/2 minute pop song with verses and choruses and everything.
Now, this is still fairly early stuff, and I’m sharing this here to get feedback - I made it unlisted on soundcloud so please don’t distribute this version too widely as it’s not quite what I’d call radio-ready:
