Just trying to understand the present situation with downloading direct from Ardour.org. When I view all the available nightlies, they are v6.0.0. Have we quietly moved from RC to public release stage?
The release is underway as I write this.

It’s a slow process (1-2 days). Tagging is just the first step, then all (40) binaries need to be built. Final QA tests performed, and only then update and upload to the store. Paul is also doing final touches on the release note etc.
But yes, it looks good so far, and the current nightly builds are likely to going to become the official 6.0 release. Give it a few more hours,… Stay Tuned!
