If not, please consider this an official feature request 
The “Add: (number)” control could be disabled if a multi track template is selected…?
Also a very minor bug report: the name field isn’t updated when a template is created, so it’s easy to end up with a template track named “Bus” or the name of whichever instrument plugin is the first in your list.
