I’ve seen that video on YT :

But I can’t find how to activate that on 6.9 or 7. Is it still working ?
It is a new feature for upcoming version 7 (not available in version 6.9).
Things have evolved significantly since the teaser video, and there is no official documentation before v7 is released.
But in short: When creating a new track, enable “Show on Cue Page” (at bottom of the new track dialog - you can later change this as well from the sidebar for existing tracks). Then show the “Cue” Page (Window > Cue Grid > …).
