Today I updated Ardour to 6.4 from the Arch repos and I was wondering if the new release blog post will be out soon
This morning most likely I believe, I am assuming you are using a git build package as most things wouldn’t even know it exists. The reason there is no announcement is it hasn’t been officially released yet, though it may be identical to what you have already seen provided nothing goes wrong.
So short version, patience is needed.
